New Airline South Air Begins Flights From July 16
KARACHI: Pakistan’s new private airline, South Air, has announced the launch of its scheduled domestic flight operations from July 16, aiming to improve regional connectivity and provide safe, reliable, and high-quality air travel.
In the first phase, the airline will operate flights between Karachi, Islamabad, and Bahawalpur, along with new routes connecting Karachi to Gwadar, Sukkur, and Rahim Yar Khan. The services will be operated using modern ATR 72-600 aircraft.

South Air to Connect Karachi With Five Cities in Initial Phase
South Air said it plans to expand its fleet and route network in the coming months. The airline has also partnered with Dream World Destination Hotels and Golf Course to promote tourism through joint travel packages and special offers. Aviation experts believe the new carrier will boost competition, tourism, trade, and regional economic growth.
