Emirates Loads 750,000 kg of Luxury Chocolate Annually with Destination-Inspired Desserts
DUBAI — Emirates is marking World Chocolate Day by revealing the scale behind its onboard chocolate experience, with customers consuming over 64 million pieces of premium chocolate annually — 4 million more than last year.
The airline also handcrafts about 26 million chocolate desserts each year. To meet demand, Emirates loads approximately 750,000 kg of luxury chocolate giveaways and uses 260,000 kg of chocolate ingredients for desserts across its global network.
Rather than a single supplier, Emirates partners with renowned chocolatiers like Valrhona, Canonica, Neuhaus, Coco Jalila, and others. Cocoa is sourced from South America and Africa with a focus on responsible and sustainable production.
