Easypaisa Clarifies Mobile Account Registration Rules for Users
The company said a valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) is mandatory for account registration. Accounts cannot be opened without identity verification, and the account holder’s name must match the details on the CNIC. Easypaisa also clarified that only one mobile account can be registered against a single CNIC, and users with expired CNICs must renew them through NADRA before creating an account.
Easypaisa further confirmed that account registration is completely free of charge. Customers who wish to update the CNIC linked to their account or resolve account-related issues can contact the company’s helpline. The company also reminded users that access to an active registered mobile number is essential, as a One-Time Password (OTP) is required for account registration, verification, and access. Without OTP verification, users cannot create or access an Easypaisa account.
