HMD Skyline 2 Leaked Ahead of Launch with Familiar Design and Upgraded Hardware
HMD Global is reportedly preparing to launch the Skyline 2, the successor to the original HMD Skyline, which debuted two years ago. According to a reliable source, the upcoming smartphone will retain a design similar to its predecessor while introducing several hardware upgrades. The device is expected to be available in Blue, Black, and Yellow color options.

The HMD Skyline 2 is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage. It is also expected to feature a 144Hz OLED display with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, offering smoother visuals and improved outdoor visibility.

In the camera department, the smartphone is tipped to include a 108MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calls, the device is expected to sport a 50MP front-facing camera.
The Skyline 2 is also rumored to support 40W wired fast charging and retain the built-in magnetic system for wireless charging, a feature introduced with the first-generation Skyline. HMD has not officially confirmed the specifications or launch date, but the leaked details suggest the company is preparing to refresh its premium smartphone lineup in the near future.
