Xiaomi Unveils Redmi K90 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Elite and 165Hz Display
Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi K90 Ultra in China, expanding its flagship Redmi K90 lineup with a smartphone designed for high-performance gaming and multimedia. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the device features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, 3,500 nits peak brightness, and a resolution of 2772 × 1280 pixels.
Redmi K90 Ultra Arrives with Up to 16GB RAM and 512GB Storage
The Redmi K90 Ultra comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. It also includes a built-in active cooling system with an 18.1mm fan and a dedicated D2 graphics chip to enhance gaming performance. The phone runs HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 and carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.

For photography, the smartphone features a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 20MP front-facing camera. It is powered by a massive 8,550mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging, although wireless charging is not supported. Xiaomi has also equipped the device with Bose-tuned dual stereo speakers for an enhanced audio experience.
The Redmi K90 Ultra is available in Space Silver, Shadow Black, and Sky Blue color options. It is currently available only in China, and Xiaomi has not yet announced plans for a global launch.
