In Karachi, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Zaman Town Police Station, along with 4 police officers, has been taken into custody on charges of kidnapping and robbery against a trader.
According to a report by Geo News, police authorities stated that three days ago, the trader and his partners were kidnapped and robbed of 11.8 million rupees while traveling on Superhighway.
Authorities further stated that after the incident, the police party left the trader in North Nazimabad and fled.

During the investigation, the SHO of Zaman Town and the police party were found to be involved in the kidnapping and robbery. The SHO of Zaman Town, Rao Rafiq, has been suspended.
