Speeding Oil Tanker Collision Triggers Deadly Pile-Up Near Kathore Turn
A tragic road accident occurred in Karachi on the M‑9 Motorway near Kathore Turn, where a speeding oil tanker lost control and collided with a passenger van. Several vehicles following behind also crashed into each other, resulting in a major pile-up.

According to rescue officials, at least 13 people—including six children and women—lost their lives in the حادثہ. The deceased and injured were shifted to Fatima Bai Hospital near the toll plaza. Identified victims include 12-year-old Aafia, 14-year-old Rizwan, 2-year-old Abrar, 35-year-old Rafiullah, and 14-year-old Muneeba, while identification of the remaining victims is ongoing.
Preliminary reports suggest that the passenger van involved in the crash was traveling on the wrong side of the road when it collided with the oil tanker.
