Initial reports had indicated that Chaudhry Aurangzeb of Al Kabir Town was eyeing the acquisition of all three channels, namely TV One, News One, and Waseb, which were previously owned by the advertising magnate Taher A Khan. However, it is now confirmed that TV One will continue to operate under the ownership of the Interflow Group.
According to sources in Karachi, Omar Ahmed has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will soon assume his responsibilities in Lahore.

News One, a Pakistani Urdu-language TV channel headquartered in Karachi, made its debut on November 27, 2007. It is owned by Air Waves Media Ltd, a subsidiary of the Interflow Group, which also holds ownership of TV One, Waseb TV, and FM91.
