Emirates Unveils Luxury Manchester Lounge with Local Dining and Direct Boarding
Emirates has unveiled its new £10 million signature lounge at Manchester Airport’s Terminal 2, marking the first UK location for its latest lounge concept. The facility combines contemporary design, integrated technology, premium hospitality and wellness-focused amenities, with more than 50 design enhancements across dedicated areas for relaxation, work, dining and socialising.
The lounge features Italian eco-leather seating with wireless charging, upgraded shower suites, a Quiet Zone with sleep amenities, private spaces and prayer rooms. Guests can also enjoy Emirates’ signature décor, global time-zone Rolex clocks and an artefact display celebrating international artists and Emirati culture. Emirates is also the only airline at Manchester Airport offering direct boarding from its lounge to the aircraft.
Dining is centred around a live open kitchen and barista and mixology services, with a “Made in Manchester” menu featuring locally sourced specialities such as Fleetwood seafood, Wigan meat and potato pie, Lancashire smoked trout and Cheshire cheeses. The local menu is complemented by international cuisine, premium drinks and Moët & Chandon Champagne. Emirates currently operates three daily flights between Manchester and Dubai, while lounge access is complimentary for eligible First Class, Business Class and Skywards Platinum and Gold customers.
