Upper Chitral Youth Dies After Shotgun Accidentally Discharges

BOONI: A young man was killed after a 12-bore shotgun accidentally discharged in Miragram-1 village of Upper Chitral on September 19.

According to local reports, Yasir Ali, son of Yadgar Ali, suffered critical injuries when the firearm went off accidentally. He was being transported to a hospital in Booni for treatment but succumbed to his injuries on the way.

His body was taken to a government hospital, where police completed the required legal formalities before handing it over to the family. Yasir Ali was later laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard in Miragram-1.

The deceased had completed a pharmacy course and was working as a volunteer at a private hospital. His death has left his family and the local community mourning the tragic incident.
