Jemima Goldsmith Marries Irish-Australian Financier Cameron O’Reilly in Private Ceremony

Two Decades After Imran Khan Divorce, Film Producer Jemima Goldsmith Ties the Knot at 52

British film producer and screenwriter Jemima Goldsmith, the former wife of Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has married for the second time. According to a report by the British newspaper Daily Mail, the 52-year-old producer tied the knot over the weekend with 62-year-old Cameron O’Reilly. O’Reilly, an Irish-Australian financier, is the son of the late international rugby star and media tycoon Sir Anthony O’Reilly. The couple originally met through their shared professional interests while working as executive producers on various film and documentary projects. Their relationship began as a friendship before blossoming into a close romantic connection over the past year.

The marriage was confirmed by Jemima’s family. Her brother, Ben Goldsmith, confirmed the news, while his wife, Jemima Jones, shared congratulations on social media, calling it a immensely happy day for the couple. Cameron O’Reilly has four children from a previous relationship, whereas Jemima shares two sons, Sulaiman and Kasim, with Imran Khan. Both Jemima and her sons have continuously voiced their support and campaigned for Imran Khan’s release from prison.

Jemima’s previous marriage to Imran Khan lasted for nearly nine years. The couple separated in 2004, and their divorce was finalized in 2005. On the professional front, O’Reilly served in his father’s media empire for nearly a decade before managing the Australian media group APN News & Media, where he stepped down as CEO in 2000. In 2003, he established a private investment fund and acquired the Swiss metering company Landis+Gyr, which was later sold to Toshiba in 2011 for $2.3 billion.

This wedding comes nearly a year after the passing of Jemima’s mother, Lady Annabel Goldsmith, who died last year. Her father, the prominent billionaire businessman Sir James Goldsmith, passed away in 1997. Meanwhile, Jemima continues to speak out regarding Imran Khan’s incarceration. The former prime minister has been in prison since 2023 facing multiple legal cases, which he rejects as politically motivated.
