Telecom Operators Boost Karachi’s Connectivity with Rapid 5G Site Deployments

The expansion of the 5G network is rapidly gaining momentum across Karachi, as major cellular mobile operators continue to deploy infrastructure to improve connectivity. According to available details, a total of 279 5G sites are currently active across the port city, with Jazz leading the rollout with 130 operational sites, followed by Zong with 122 sites, and Ufone with 27 live sites. Telecom companies are actively working to operationalize additional sites in a phased manner to extend coverage further.

As Pakistan’s commercial hub, Karachi represents a critical market for the nationwide 5G expansion.
