New Facilities and Access Routes Announced to Promote Tourism in KP
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has launched a series of tourism development initiatives, including the establishment of 16 picnic spots and tourist facilitation services at nine प्रमुख destinations across the province. These projects are part of a broader strategy to enhance tourism infrastructure, with special emphasis on Chitral under various development programmes.

The योजनाओं include the construction of jeepable tracks to improve access to remote tourist areas, along with the development of camping pod sites, rest houses, and community-based accommodation facilities. Authorities are also planning feasibility studies, cultural events, and activities under initiatives like “Tirich Mir Year 2024–25” to promote tourism and local culture.
Officials stated that these efforts are being carried out in coordination with provincial departments, district administrations, and federal organisations. Engagement with national and international tourism stakeholders is also underway to ensure effective implementation and to position Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as a key पर्यटन destination.
