KARACHI – A tragic accident on Karsaz Road claimed the lives of a 30-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman when a speeding car struck their motorcycle, ARY News reported on Wednesday. The devastating incident has ignited public outrage.

Bystanders at the scene apprehended the driver of the car, and in a wave of anger, the mob physically assaulted him. Police arrived promptly to manage the situation and took the driver into custody. However, the angered crowd surrounded the police vehicle, preventing the authorities from transporting the driver.
This heartbreaking accident underscores Karachi’s growing road safety concerns, with reckless driving and insufficient enforcement of traffic laws continuing to cause loss of lives and grief for families.
In a related incident, a collision involving a tanker claimed the lives of a couple, Abdul Qayyum and Zainab, along with their newborn child as they were returning home from a hospital in Landhi. The aftermath saw citizens vandalizing the tanker and attacking the driver before handing him over to the police.
