A disturbing discovery has shaken the city of Narowal, as the bodies of five newborn girls were found discarded in garbage heaps across different areas over the past 15 days. The Sialkot district police have launched an investigation into the shocking incident, which has sparked widespread concern and outrage among locals.

According to District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Naveed Iqbal, the emergency service received a call on February 15, 2025, about a newborn found in the trash near Adda Stop, Daska. A rescue team responded promptly but unfortunately, the baby girl had already passed away. The incident was reported to the local police.
Further investigation revealed that the bodies of four other newborn girls were discovered at different locations, including Kharta Sayedan, Pasrur Road, Dalwali, and Bhaer Pulley. Tragically, many of the bodies had been mutilated by stray animals.

The police are currently investigating the incidents and working to identify those responsible. The discovery has raised concerns about infant abandonment, gender-based violence, and the need for greater support and resources for vulnerable populations.
