15,000 Pakistanis Will Be Trained in New and Specialized Technologies by the IT Ministry

The 15,000 students who are enrolled in the “Capacity Building of IT Industry in Specialization Technologies & Platforms” will receive training in advanced technologies like BlockChain, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.

Plans to teach 15,000 Pakistanis in a variety of new and specialized technologies have been made public by the Federal Ministry of IT and Telecommunication (MoITT).

The 15,000 students, including women and young people, who are enrolled in the MoITT’s “Capacity Building of IT Industry in Specialization Technologies & Platforms” program will learn sophisticated contemporary technologies like BlockChain, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twins, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, e-health, BPO, and more.

Around Rs. 2,000 million will be needed to train the 15,000 pupils, of which Rs. 1,000 million has already been set aside by the Pakistani government as the first phase of the training program begins.

According to specifics, the program will produce 300 master teachers who would train students in a variety of technologies that the market demands, including blockchain and cloud computing. The industry will then receive assistance from these master trainers with HR development initiatives, curricula, and training.
