Irfan Wahab joins Telenor Asia, and Khurrum Ashfaque is named CEO of Telenor Pakistan

Khurrum Ashfaque has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Telenor Pakistan by the board of directors. Irfan Wahab Khan, who will take up a new position as Senior Vice President (SVP) at Telenor Asia, will be replaced by him.

Irfan will continue to serve as Telenor Microfinance Bank’s (TMB) Board of Directors Chair. The appointment will take effect on September 15, 2023.

Khurrum formerly served as Telenor Pakistan’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). He has worked for the company for 17 years and has been instrumental in helping Telenor Pakistan become a strong, effective business that is prepared for the future.
