Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Leak Hints at Slimmer Bezels, Bigger Camera Bump
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S27 Ultra could feature slightly slimmer display bezels and a more prominent rear camera module, according to new leaks shared by tipster Ice Universe. The reported changes suggest Samsung may be refining the phone’s design while potentially introducing camera hardware upgrades.
The Galaxy S27 Ultra is tipped to feature 1.28mm display bezels, compared with 1.32mm on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Although the difference is small, it could offer a slightly more refined front design. Meanwhile, the rear camera bump is reportedly expected to measure 4.69mm, up from approximately 4.5mm on the current model.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Rumours Point to Design Changes Ahead of 2027 Launch
CAD-based renders attributed to OnLeaks suggest the Galaxy S27 Ultra could measure 163.76 × 78.25 × 7.97mm. These dimensions would make it marginally taller, wider and thicker than the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which measures 163.6 × 78.1 × 7.9mm, excluding the camera protrusion. Earlier renders have also indicated a wider rectangular camera island across the phone’s rear panel.
The larger camera assembly could be linked to a rumored ISOCELL HP6 main sensor in the 1/1.3-inch class and changes to the phone’s optical system. Other leaks suggest Samsung may introduce a larger battery and an improved AMOLED Privacy Display feature designed to limit screen visibility from side angles. The privacy technology could also be extended to other models in the Galaxy S27 lineup.
Samsung has not officially confirmed the Galaxy S27 Ultra’s design, specifications or launch date. The Galaxy S27 series is currently expected to debut in January or February 2027, but its final hardware and release schedule remain unconfirmed.
