One UI 10 Could Transform Galaxy Experience With Smarter Apps and Cross-Device Integration
Samsung is reportedly planning a major overhaul of its One UI software with the upcoming One UI 10, potentially introducing significant changes to how Galaxy users interact with their smartphones, tablets and wearable devices. According to a report citing a source close to Nokia Power User, the South Korean technology giant is considering a new software philosophy, with some claims reportedly supported by Samsung tipster Ice Universe.
The reported redesign could move away from traditional app-based interactions towards a more contextual experience. Instead of switching between multiple applications, users may be able to access relevant information from calendars, location services and communications through a more unified interface. The approach could expand on Samsung’s existing Now Nudge feature, making information more accessible when needed.

Another expected focus is reducing the number of taps, hidden menus and unnecessary steps required to complete everyday tasks. Samsung is also reportedly planning to improve integration across its ecosystem, allowing smoother transitions and data sharing between Galaxy smartphones, tablets and wearable devices.
Artificial intelligence could play a major role in the proposed changes. The report suggests Samsung may consider a two-tier model in which core features remain free, while certain advanced AI tools and high-computing third-party integrations could require subscriptions. However, these plans have not been officially confirmed. One UI 10 could arrive alongside a future Galaxy S-series generation, potentially the Galaxy S29 series, while early developer previews may be released beforehand. The report also suggests that recent Galaxy flagship devices could receive the new software through Samsung’s long-term update programme.
