BTS Sets New Streaming Record as Group’s Comeback Dominates 2026
BTS has made Spotify history in 2026, with 149 of the group’s songs now surpassing 100 million streams. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook have become the first group and Asian act to reach the milestone, adding another major achievement to their record-breaking career.
The milestone comes during BTS’ highly anticipated comeback following the completion of the members’ mandatory military service. The group has reunited for new music and its ARIRANG World Tour, which began in April 2026 and is scheduled to continue into 2027, with the currently listed final concert set for March 14, 2027, in Manila.

BTS has also recorded its biggest streaming year on Spotify, accumulating 8.68 billion streams in 2026 and surpassing its previous annual record of 8.65 billion streams set in 2021. Meanwhile, the group’s latest album, ARIRANG, has reportedly become Spotify’s most-streamed K-pop album, while the track “NORMAL” set a platform record as the most-streamed K-pop music video in a single day.
The latest figures highlight the enormous global impact of BTS’ return after their hiatus. With billions of streams, a major world tour and multiple Spotify records, the seven-member group continues to strengthen its position as one of the most influential acts in K-pop and global popular music, demonstrating that its worldwide appeal remains stronger than ever.
