Xiaomi 18 Pro May Reach Europe, Japan, and Other Global Markets, Certification Leak Reveals
A new leak suggests that Xiaomi could launch the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Pro in international markets, marking a significant shift from the company’s previous strategy. Last year, the Xiaomi 17 Pro remained exclusive to China, forcing international buyers to import the device through third-party sellers. While Xiaomi has not officially confirmed its global launch plans, newly surfaced certification listings indicate the company may be preparing a wider release for its next flagship.
Samsung Reportedly Switching to Sony Sensors for Galaxy S27 & S27 Plus Main Cameras
According to information shared by XIMITIME, a smartphone bearing the model number 26122PN61G, believed to be the Xiaomi 18 Pro, has appeared in certification databases across multiple regions. The leaked filings reportedly include Europe, Russia, Turkey, Taiwan, and Japan. Since many countries do not publicly disclose certification records, the actual list of launch markets could be broader than currently known. However, these certifications do not guarantee a commercial release, and Xiaomi has yet to make an official announcement.
The leak does not mention a Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, and its existence remains unconfirmed. While some industry rumors suggest Xiaomi could introduce a higher-end Pro Max variant, there is currently no reliable evidence supporting a global launch. Previous reports have indicated that if the model is released, it may initially remain exclusive to the Chinese market.
