InvestPak Portal and App Go Live as SBP Pushes Financial Inclusion and Digital Sovereign Debt Access
The State Bank of Pakistan has formally launched InvestPak, a new web portal and mobile app ecosystem designed to fully digitize the process of investing in Government of Pakistan securities. Unveiled at an event in Karachi hosted by Governor SBP Jameel Ahmad and attended by Federal Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, the platform aims to expand retail and corporate participation in the sovereign debt market. Alongside the launch, SBP also rolled out a nationwide media campaign to raise awareness and drive adoption.

Speaking at the ceremony, Finance Minister Aurangzeb called InvestPak a “decisive step toward democratizing investment” by giving citizens, youth, corporates and institutions direct digital access to safe government investment options. He added that a broader investor base would also free up banks to focus more on private sector lending. Governor Ahmad described the platform as a milestone under SBP’s Strategic Vision 2028, saying it reflects the central bank’s commitment to inclusive, transparent and technology-driven financial services. He emphasized that awareness, not just technology, will drive change and urged making sovereign investments “a household conversation.
”InvestPak is expected to benefit individual investors, women, small savers and corporates by cutting paperwork, improving transparency, and allowing users to manage multiple PKR and IPS accounts from one place. The platform supports investments from home or office and comes with a dedicated call center and in-app support. Investors can access the portal at investpak.sbp.org.pk, while the mobile app is available on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
