According to the leak, the eSIM-only version of the iPhone 18 Pro Max is expected to include a 5,425mAh battery, while the model with a physical SIM slot could pack a slightly smaller 5,235mAh battery. Both versions would offer a significant upgrade over the iPhone 17 Pro Max, which features batteries of 5,088mAh (eSIM) and 4,823mAh (physical SIM).

If the leaked specifications prove accurate, the iPhone 18 Pro Max could deliver noticeably longer battery life than its predecessor without becoming thicker. Reports suggest the phone’s slight increase in overall thickness is due to a redesigned camera module rather than the larger battery. Apple is widely expected to unveil the iPhone 18 lineup at its traditional September launch event, although the company has not officially confirmed any specifications.
