Islamabad — Waqas Aman Ullah, Chief Consumer Business Officer (CCBO) at Telenor Pakistan, has officially resigned from his role.
The departure comes as Pak Telecom Mobile Limited (PTML), operating as Ufone, assumes control of Telenor Pakistan’s operations following the completion of legal requirements for the PTCL-Telenor merger.

During his tenure, Waqas Aman Ullah led Telenor’s consumer business value chain and focused on integrating digital and physical channels to expand market reach and improve customer experience.
With the transition underway, sources told TechJuice that consultations and interviews for the next CCBO have already been completed, and a board meeting to finalize the appointment may be held soon.
The company confirmed there are no further layoffs at Telenor at this time. The development follows the Islamabad High Court’s approval of the Scheme of Amalgamation on June 30, 2026, clearing the path for operational integration of the two telecom entities.
