Leaders Condemn Deadly Assault on Security Forces in KP
A suicide attack targeting security personnel in Bannu left three members of the forces martyred, including a lieutenant colonel. According to the military’s media wing, a motorcyclist carried out the assault against the troops.
Among those who embraced martyrdom was 43-year-old Lt Col Shahzada Gul Faraz from Mansehra, described by Inter-Services Public Relations as a courageous commanding officer known for leading from the front, along with 28-year-old Sepoy Karamat Shah from Peshawar.
In separate statements, Asif Ali Zardari and Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the attack, calling it cowardly and expressing deep sorrow over the loss of the personnel.
