Mr. Sami Wahid has officially assumed the role of General Manager for the Pakistan and Afghanistan Region within the Eurasia & Middle East Operation Unit of The Coca-Cola Company. With nearly 20 years of extensive experience in marketing, sales, strategy, and general management, Mr. Wahid brings a dynamic and holistic leadership style to his new position. Before joining Coca-Cola, he successfully served as Managing Director at Mondelez Pakistan, where he led sustainable growth and transformation across multiple markets including the Middle East, North Africa, and Pakistan.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the opportunity, Mr. Wahid highlighted Coca-Cola’s deep-rooted presence in Pakistan, with over $1 billion invested in Foreign Direct Investment in recent years. “This market holds immense growth potential, and I look forward to driving further expansion alongside Coca-Cola İçecek (CCI), our Turkey-based bottler,” he remarked. Beyond business growth, Mr. Wahid is a strong advocate for environmental, governance, and sustainability initiatives. A former Senior Vice President of the American Business Council, he remains committed to promoting sectoral development and community-focused projects, with an emphasis on creating lasting social impact through initiatives like Coke Studio and other local partnerships.
