Emirates and SriLankan Airlines Partner to Enhance Passenger Connectivity

Emirates and SriLankan Airlines have inked a reciprocal interline agreement, opening up a world of travel possibilities for passengers of both airlines. This partnership streamlines the travel experience, allowing customers to access new destinations on each other’s networks via Colombo and Dubai, all on a single ticket with the added convenience of seamless baggage transfers.

The collaboration offers Emirates passengers the opportunity to explore 15 regional destinations operated by SriLankan Airlines through Colombo. This expanded network includes enticing locations like Madurai, Tiruchirapally, and Gan Island in the Maldives. Travelers can now journey on a single ticket, benefit from a generous baggage policy, and enjoy hassle-free baggage check-through to their final destination. Other Far East and South Asian destinations covered include Cochin, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Malé, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, Guangzhou, Seoul, and Tokyo.

SriLankan Airlines passengers also gain access to Emirates’ global network, with connectivity to 15 cities beyond Dubai, spanning the Middle East, Africa, Russia, and the United States. This means SriLankan travelers can enjoy the premium experience of flying with Emirates to destinations like Bahrain, Amman, Dammam, Medina, Cairo, Muscat, Nairobi, Moscow, Tel Aviv, and various U.S. cities.
