FCEPL deploys 450kW solar system to optimize energy utilization

FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited has announced the deployment of a 450 kW Solar Photovoltaic (PV) system integrated with a 255 kWh Battery Energy Storage System

Karachi: In a significant step towards achieving a sustainable industrial ecosystem, FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited has announced the deployment of a 450 kW Solar Photovoltaic (PV) system integrated with a 255 kWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at its Nara Dairy Farm facility.

Awarded to DSG Energy, the project represents a strategic investment in clean energy infrastructure that will strengthen the plant’s energy resilience, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate the company’s transition toward a lower-carbon future.

‘This installation represents the futuristic, energy-conscious mindset that guides us at FCEPL’ said Kashan Hasan, CEO and Managing Director of the company. He added, ‘we are eager to expand our solar footprint further, which now includes our production facilities as well as our dairy farm. Our efforts to bring clean energy into our operations truly reflects our purpose of Nourishing Pakistan through-out the Grass to Glass journey, ensuring that we continue to care for our environment and communities whilst providing safe, healthy and nutritious products to the millions of families who consume our products everyday.’
