Rs3.5 Billion Raast QR Subsidy Boosts Digital Payments in Pakistan
State Minister for Finance and Railways Bilal Azhar Kayani said Pakistan has successfully achieved its June 2026 target for digital transactions and is now working to further expand the adoption of digital payments across the country.
He said the government’s Rs3.5 billion subsidy for promoting Raast QR has played an important role in increasing the use of digital payment systems. The initiative aims to encourage wider adoption of digital transactions among consumers and businesses.
