Prices of various iPhone 17 models have been reduced in several countries ahead of the expected launch of Apple’s iPhone 18 series and a new foldable iPhone. Retailers are offering special discounts to clear existing inventory and make room for the upcoming devices.

According to international media reports, Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 series and a new foldable iPhone on September 9. Ahead of the new generation’s arrival, retailers have started cutting prices of existing iPhone 17 models.

In the UK, Amazon has increased discounts on the iPhone 17 lineup. The standard iPhone 17 has received a £100 reduction, or more than Rs37,000, while the 512GB iPhone Air has reportedly received a discount of £200, equivalent to more than Rs112,000.

Prices have also fallen across several European markets, with discounts of €100 to €150, equivalent to roughly Rs32,000 to Rs50,000. According to Forbes, Apple could discontinue the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max after announcing the iPhone 18 lineup, potentially making the current discounted prices an attractive option for buyers.
