OUP Pakistan, The City School launch nationwide poetry competition

Karachi . Oxford University Press Pakistan and The City School Network have signed an MoU to launch The City Verse, a nationwide poetry competition for students in Grades 1–8 across The City School’s 150 plus campuses in Pakistan.

Inspired by the Oxford International Primary and Secondary English series, The City Verse extends learning beyond the classroom by providing students with an opportunity to apply their language and creative writing skills through the creation of original poetry. Designed around a project-based learning framework, the competition encourages creativity, self-expression, and independent learning. Entries will be evaluated by an independent jury, with finalists and national winners selected from across the country.
