Samsung is expected to introduce its next generation of Galaxy Z foldable smartphones later this month, and a fresh leak has revealed key camera specifications for the upcoming lineup. The new series is rumored to include the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip8, with the official launch expected on July 22.

According to the leak, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra will retain its predecessor’s 200MP primary camera and 10MP telephoto lens but is expected to receive a major upgrade with a new 50MP ultra-wide camera replacing the previous 12MP sensor. The standard Galaxy Z Fold8 is tipped to feature a dual 50MP rear camera setup, along with 10MP selfie cameras on both the cover and inner displays. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip8 is expected to carry over the same camera system as the Galaxy Z Flip7, including a 50MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide lens.
Samsung is reportedly planning to unveil the new foldable lineup on July 22, with global sales expected to begin on August 5. While the company has yet to confirm the specifications, the latest leak suggests Samsung will focus on refining camera performance while maintaining the premium foldable experience across its upcoming devices.
