Yango Group Launches AI-Powered Platform to Modernize Public Transport Management
Yango Group has announced its expansion into public transport technology with the launch of an AI-powered management platform designed to help transport authorities and operators address urban mobility challenges. The platform brings together real-time data, analytics, and operational tools in a single interface, enabling more efficient management of transport networks. The move comes as traffic congestion continues to rise globally, with many cities still relying on fragmented and outdated transport systems.
The platform supports network planning, daily operations, and revenue management through an AI layer that analyzes both historical and real-time mobility data. It can forecast passenger demand, model traffic patterns, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements to schedules, routes, and fleet allocation. According to Yango’s estimates, integrated transport solutions can reduce traffic congestion by up to 28%, lower operational costs by up to 35%, and improve fare collection by up to 30%.
Yango says the platform can also be integrated into its SuperApp, allowing passengers to access services such as trip planning, real-time vehicle tracking, digital ticketing, and transport card top-ups from a single interface. The launch aligns with broader smart city initiatives, including the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, as governments increasingly seek digital solutions to make public transportation more efficient, accessible, and sustainable.
