Drone and Missile Strikes Damage Kuwait International Airport Terminal, Flights Suspended
Kuwaiti authorities have reported that drone and missile strikes targeted the T1 terminal building at Kuwait International Airport, causing significant damage and injuring several people.
According to official statements carried by the state news agency, the military confirmed that the airport sustained substantial material losses as a result of the attack. Several individuals were injured and received medical treatment, although officials have not disclosed the exact number of casualties or the severity of their injuries.
In response to the incident, the General Civil Aviation Authority announced the temporary suspension of airport operations as a precautionary measure. Authorities said all incoming and outgoing flights are being redirected to alternative airports until further notice.
