Emirates Named World’s Most Profitable Airline as Group Revenue Hits Record High
The Emirates Group has announced record-breaking financial results for the 2025-26 fiscal year, reporting a profit before tax of AED 24.4 billion (US$ 6.6 billion), a 7% increase from the previous year. Group revenue reached a historic AED 150.5 billion (US$ 41 billion), while cash assets climbed 12% to AED 59.6 billion (US$ 16.2 billion). Despite disruptions caused by military activity in the Gulf region during the final month of the financial year, the Group maintained strong operational performance and declared a dividend of AED 3.5 billion to the Investment Corporation of Dubai.
Emirates retained its position as the world’s most profitable airline, posting AED 22.8 billion (US$ 6.2 billion) in profit before tax and generating AED 130.9 billion (US$ 35.7 billion) in revenue. The airline also achieved its highest-ever cash asset level at AED 54.9 billion. Chairman and Chief Executive Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum credited the company’s resilience to investments in technology, customer experience, workforce, and infrastructure, while highlighting Dubai’s aviation ecosystem for enabling continued operations during regional disruptions.

dnata also delivered strong results, recording AED 1.6 billion (US$ 437 million) in profit before tax and AED 23.6 billion (US$ 6.4 billion) in revenue, driven by growth in airport operations, catering, and retail divisions. The Emirates Group invested AED 17.9 billion in aircraft, facilities, and technology during the year, while its workforce expanded by 8% to over 130,000 employees worldwide. The Group stated that increasing travel demand and global operational expansion contributed significantly to its record performance.
