Samsung Rolls Out April Patch Fixing 47 Vulnerabilities on Galaxy A37 and A56
Samsung has started rolling out its April 2026 security update for the new Samsung Galaxy A37 and Samsung Galaxy A56, addressing 47 known vulnerabilities in previous firmware versions. The update is aimed at strengthening device security and improving protection for users of the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy A37 receives firmware version A376BXXS2AZC2, while the Samsung Galaxy A56 is updated to A566BXXSABZD2. The patch is currently rolling out in Europe and is expected to expand to other markets, including Pakistan, in the coming weeks. According to reports, the update includes 33 security fixes from Google for Android 16, four fixes from Samsung’s semiconductor division, and 10 additional patches from Samsung itself.
Notably, 14 of the fixes have been categorized as critical, prompting users to install the update as soon as it becomes available. Users can check for the patch through the Software Update section in the Settings menu by selecting “Check for Updates” and tapping “Download and Install” once the update appears. Analysts say the update underscores growing attention to cybersecurity in mobile devices as software threats continue to evolve.
