Nation Mourns Kohat Attack as Security Forces Launch Search Operation
A tragic incident unfolded in the outskirts of Kohat, where terrorists ambushed a police team on Shakardara Road. The officers were escorting a detainee when unidentified gunmen opened heavy fire, killing DSP Lachi Asad Mahmood along with four other policemen, including Inspector Anargul Khan, a gunman, a reader, and a driver. Several others were critically injured, while the attackers also set the police vehicle ablaze before fleeing.
