Listeners can now add unique images, text, stickers, and graphic elements to reflect their mood, highlight their favorite artists, or simply give their playlists a visual identity. Both Free and Premium users on iOS and Android can access this feature by selecting any playlist they’ve created, tapping the three-dot menu, and choosing “Create cover art.” From there, users can customize text styles, colors, backgrounds, effects, and more.
To celebrate the expansion, Spotify has launched a new summer-themed sticker pack featuring 13 fun icons, including butterflies, rainbows, and waterdrops. This follows previous special releases like the Valentine’s Day, Tyler, The Creator, and COWBOY CARTER collections. The summer stickers are available in all markets where the cover customization feature is active.
