American Woman Onijah Andrew Robinson Detained in Dubai After Missing Flight from Karachi to New York
Onijah Andrew Robinson, an American woman who spent four months in Karachi after falling in love with a Pakistani man, has been detained in Dubai after missing her connecting flight to New York. Robinson departed Karachi on February 7 but chose to stay in Dubai on an on-arrival visa instead of boarding her flight to the US. Her family, concerned about her disappearance, alerted authorities, leading to an investigation and her subsequent detention.

Despite holding a valid visa and not violating any laws, Robinson cannot be forcibly deported. Airline officials are reluctant to allow her on a 15-hour flight due to security concerns. The only solution is to convince her to return to the US voluntarily, as efforts to resolve her situation continue.
