The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs says that last year, 459 requests from voluntary donors for the construction and renovation of mosques in different areas of the kingdom were approved.
According to Sabak News, one billion and 40 crore riyals were provided by the donors for the construction, reformation and repair of mosques.

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has thanked the voluntary donors for the construction and repair of mosques.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Da’wah and Guidance in the country has set a procedure for receiving donations for the reconstruction, improvement and repair of existing mosques in different areas, cities and towns, as well as for the construction of new mosques, under which its regular Records are kept.

Donors are also informed about the mosque for which the money is donated for construction or renovation.
