Upholding a Decade of Commitment to Animal Welfare and Empowering Communities
KARACHI: Ayesha Chundrigar, the founder of ACF Animal Rescue has issued an official statement in response to the false, libelous, and defamatory statements published by Sadia Ghori against ACF Animal Rescue despite her bogus case being disposed off in the court (Judgement attached) due to a concealment of material facts and no law broken.
ACF Animal Rescue’s legal defense clearly states that attacking the integrity of ACF is causing irreparable damage to their reputation. Contrary to the fabricated statements presented, there is no legal offense that has been committed by ACF as acknowledged by the court of law, but the people of Empress Market are still being incited by the same person with defamatory videos against ACF Animal Rescue, where they are trying to help the animals.

“We work in the most holistic way possible to help animals and people, and all the hard work that we have done in the past 10 years to bring animal welfare in Pakistan is at risk because one person is trying to manipulate and twist our efforts and bring us down. This has forced us to stop rescues for over 10 days now but due to the baseless accusation being continued by the same person, ACF Animal Rescue has also filed a complaint with FIA & will be filing a lawsuit for damages & defamation” , commented Ayesha Chundrigar regarding the malafide allegations against ACF Animal Rescue.

The ACF Animal Rescue is Pakistan’s first-of-its-kind animal sanctuary in Pakistan that works on providing relief to abused street animals, by setting up an active animal rescue helpline and social media with rescue ambulances for treatment and rehabilitation. ACF Animal Rescue also undertakes the initiative of mass vaccination of street dogs against rabies and population control via a TNVR program as suggested by WHO as the most effective way of managing the dog population.
Additionally, ACF Animal Rescue also hold donkey medical camps to provide free medical treatment, food and water to the animals alongside educating their owners about animal welfare.
What’s more, ACF has been granted permission by the Sindh Wildlife Department to treat and rehabilitate wildlife. Empathic education is also one of the initiatives by ACF and a great need of the hour for healing the bond between humans and animals. The ACF organization has numerous accolades to its name, such as winning the WWF Green Innovation Challenge for creating humane donkey harnesses; whereas founder Ayesha Chundrigar has been awarded HUM Women Leaders Award, recognized as a Hero and Pride of Pakistan at the Pakistan Super League, and won an international competition for best work at Facebook in America.
During their decade of working for animal rescue, ACF has rescued and helped more than 30,000 animals. Spreading of this false propaganda against ACF Animal Rescue is a vilification campaign against ACF Animal Rescue, which undermines a decade of hard work for animal rights, providing animal shelter, and minimizing animal abuse causing irreversible loss to the organization and its founder and hinders the good work they are doing to improve the quality of life of animals and humans alike from marginalized and forgotten communities.
