Saudia airline ranked first in departure on-time performance: global report
Saudia, the national carrier of Saudi Arabia, has achieved a significant milestone, ranking first globally in departure on-time performance (OTP) with a punctuality rate of 88.82%, as per a report by the independent aviation tracking site Cirium.

According to a statement by the airline issued today, additionally, Saudia secured second place globally in arrival OTP with a rate of 86.35%. This recognition comes after successfully operating 192,560 flights over the past year, covering a network of over 100 destinations across four continents.
This achievement is particularly relevant to travelers in Pakistan, a key market for Saudia. The airline operates regular flights connecting major Pakistani cities, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Multan, to Saudi Arabia. These connections are crucial for Pakistani travelers, especially for pilgrims undertaking Hajj and Umrah, as well as for those traveling for business and leisure purposes.
