Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a 15% discount on tickets for passengers flying from Toronto to Saudi Arabia via Lahore, aiming to ease the pilgrimage journey for many travelers. This discount is available for tickets purchased from July for travel between August 15 and November 15, 2024. The initiative is expected to make the pilgrimage more affordable and encourage more individuals to undertake this important journey.
PIA has already begun selling discounted tickets as part of its efforts to provide comfortable and cost-effective travel options for Umrah pilgrims. Additionally, the airline has launched direct flights from Quetta and Faisalabad to Saudi Arabia starting August 6, aiming to facilitate residents’ travel needs, including the Umrah pilgrimage.

This new service offers two flights per week between Jeddah and these Pakistani cities, eliminating the need for connecting flights through Islamabad, Karachi, or Lahore.
Previously, PIA had also reduced Umrah costs for pilgrims traveling to Jeddah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Dammam by 30%. Known for its reasonable prices and convenient itineraries, PIA is a preferred choice for Umrah pilgrims. The airline offers direct flights to Saudi Arabia and well-connected routes via Lahore, providing reliable and punctual travel options for pilgrims.
