Georgette had lived next to Muhammad for over 50 years. Following the passing of her own family, she moved in with Muhammad, his wife, and their three children. Over time, she became a cherished part of their household.

Muhammad, who had lost his mother, lovingly welcomed Georgette as a motherly figure in his life. Georgette shared that witnessing the family pray together and observing the warmth, unity, and mutual respect within their home drew her toward Islam. She noted that while her own daughter seldom reached out, Muhammad’s family constantly cared for her.
During a visit to Morocco with the family in Ramadan, Georgette experienced the beauty of Islamic traditions firsthand — watching people fast, pray, and care for one another deeply moved her. Reflecting on this, she expressed regret for not discovering Islam earlier but felt immense gratitude for finding it in her lifetime.
