Arsalan Abbas has been included in the New Zealand squad based on his exceptional domestic performances. He is capable of batting in the middle order and delivering bowling duties as well.
Notably, during the ODI series between New Zealand and Pakistan, the Kiwi team will miss senior players Mitchell Santner, Rachin Ravindra, Devon Conway, and Glenn Phillips, as they will be participating in the IPL in India.
In their absence, new players, including Muhammad Arsalan Abbas, will be given a chance against Pakistan.
