The Pakistan blind cricket team secured their first-ever T20 Blind Cricket World Cup trophy by defeating Bangladesh with an emphatic 10-wicket victory in the final held at Multan Cricket Stadium on Tuesday. Remaining unbeaten throughout the tournament, Pakistan chased Bangladesh’s target of 140 runs in just 10.2 overs. Captain Nisar Ali scored a match-winning 72 not out, supported by Mohammad Safdar’s unbeaten 47. Earlier, Bangladesh’s Arif Hussain top-scored with 54 runs, while Pakistan’s Babar Ali impressed with a two-wicket haul for 24 runs.

During the prize ceremony, World Blind Cricket Council (WBCC) President Syed Sultan Shah and WBCC Director Raymond Moxley presented the winning trophy and a PKR 1 million cash prize to Nisar Ali. Bangladesh’s captain Ariful Islam received the runner-up trophy and PKR 500,000. Nisar Ali was named Player of the Final, while Bangladesh’s Arif Hussain was honored as the tournament’s emerging player. Other individual accolades went to players from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka for their outstanding performances in various categories.
