Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD Auto has made its official entry into the Pakistani market with the launch of two electric models, the BYD Seal and BYD Atto 3, at the Pakistan Auto Parts Show (PAPS) 2024 in Lahore. The price for the BYD Seal starts at Rs 14.79 million for the Dynamic variant, while the Premium variant is available for Rs 16.99 million. The BYD Atto 3 Advance model is priced at Rs 8.99 million, targeting different segments of Pakistan’s growing EV market.

Both vehicles showcase BYD’s innovative Blade Battery technology, known for safety and fast-charging capabilities. The BYD Seal features a powerful battery range of 510 to 650 km and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds. The Atto 3 offers a range of 410 km and can reach 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. Both models are equipped with advanced safety features such as Predictive Collision Warning, Driver Attention Warning, and seven airbags, aiming to provide both performance and peace of mind to Pakistani consumers.

Federal Minister for Finance, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, attended the launch event and praised BYD’s entry as a pivotal step toward Pakistan’s sustainability goals. BYD’s presence in Pakistan marks a significant step in the nation’s shift toward eco-friendly transportation, with the company showcasing its dedication to advancing sustainable mobility through the unveiling of its models: BYD Seal, Atto 3, and Sealion 6.
