Ghafoor Shad told Independent Urdu that this event marks the beginning of a new type of festival in Kech district, similar to the Faiz Festival in Punjab and the Ayaz Mela in Sindh.

He shared his experience, noting that while panel discussions usually see limited interest, at this festival, all 1,500 seats for the discussion sessions were filled, which he considered a major success.

Prominent attendees included former Chief Minister of Balochistan, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, and economist Qaiser Bengali, who provided insights on the country’s economy to the audience.
