Popular Saudi food chain AlBaik is set to launch in Pakistan after signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gas & Oil Pakistan Limited (GO). The announcement marks a highly anticipated moment for Pakistani fans of the chain, known for its signature broast chicken. Established in 1974 in Jeddah, AlBaik operates over 120 outlets across Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and other regions.
The collaboration with GO, a prominent energy company, signals AlBaik’s expansion into Pakistan, where demand for the brand has grown among expatriates and travelers. The food chain’s debut has long been awaited by Pakistanis who have enjoyed its offerings during visits to the Kingdom. This partnership is expected to pave the way for its widespread presence in the country.

The MoU aims to explore the possibility of establishing a strategic partnership to set up and operate AlBaik restaurants in Pakistan, as part of the company’s expansion strategy in the country, according to a statement.
The signing ceremony took place under the patronage of His Excellency, the Minister of Investment, Engineer Khalid Al-Falih, and in the presence of Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif as well as General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan and a high-level delegation from both Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
