Mubasher Luqman Accuses Pakistani Cricketers of Match-Fixing After T20 World Cup Exit

Senior journalist Mubasher Luqman has leveled serious allegations of match-fixing against Pakistani players following the national team’s disappointing exit from the T20 World Cup. In a video on his YouTube channel, Luqman claimed that Babar Azam purchased an Audi car worth Rs 8 crore, which Azam said was a gift from his brother. However, Luqman asserted that investigations revealed Azam’s brother had no means to afford such a lavish gift.

Luqman further implicated prominent cricketers such as Wahab Riaz, Shahid Afridi, Shaheen Afridi, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Saqlain Mushtaq, and Mushtaq Ahmed, alleging they were involved in match-fixing at various points in their careers. According to Luqman’s sources, the Pakistan team deliberately lost matches to the USA and India during the T20 World Cup, resulting in substantial financial gains for the players, who then bought expensive apartments in Australia and Dubai.
